Sensitive words

Many people face challenges with language sensitivity and respect for different cultures and communities. A lot of people use the word “gay” and “faggot” jokingly and not the way the word actually means, making some people offended. Since gays and lesbians have become more outspoken in the last couple years, I think it is very important to be aware of the words you use in public. People of different cultures get offended as well when people use their race in a derogatory way. I think America has become more welcoming over the years of different races living here, so I think people should show a lot more respect for people of different cultures.
